Longkang Choo Choo Trek 17 Jul 2005

I will be joining the following local trek organised by the Singapore Adventurers' Club (SAC). As per normal, please let me know if you are coming in case there are any changes.

Singapore Adventurers' Club
Longkang Choo Choo Trek

The first part of this tranquil trek will see us following a disused railway and leads us all the way from Bukit Timah area till we exit from the Railway Bridge near Ulu Pandan Park. On the first part of the walk, we will be under the shades of lush fern tree forest and giant Albizzias. From the bridge, a short walk will then lead us to the Mother of all Longkang. Wading in crystal cool clear water, you would again be taking a walk through an urban forest. If you are lucky, you will be able to see shoals of mini catfish. The trail will bring us all the way back to Bukit Timah Road
